With aerating, overseeding, and fertilizing. Book now through Optimism Aeration
(It’s still us, just a different name)
Aeration allows vital nutrients, water, sunlight, and oxygen to reach the grass roots. Here’s how it works:
Before Aeration
Aeration
Aeration puts small holes in your lawn to allow air, nutrients, and water to penetrate the grass roots deeply. The plugs of core pulled from the holes slowly dissolve on top of the grass leaving even more nutrients.
After Aeration
Deeper roots start to grow after aeration. In 6-8 weeks your lawn will have a greener, healthier look. New growth crowds out weeds, and fewer insects are able to survive.
Aeration is best done twice a year, once in April/May and again in September/October. It’s a good idea to overseed and fertilize along with aerating — this additional maintenance helps make lawns thicker, greener and more resilient to drought and disease.
